NATURAL BELLE: ADEBOLA

Can we meet you?
I'm Adebola. I'm a mom of 3 kids(2 boys and a princess). I'm of a very mixed Nigerian heritage(Yoruba/Bonny/Okrika)

How long have you been natural?
I chopped off my hair 8/8/2012(2years)

Describe your texture?
I have fine to very thick hair strands, straight to very coily and it's dense. The hair typing chart confuses me but I think it's anything from 3a/b/c to 4a

What are your regimen?
My wash days can range from once or twice a week to once in two weeks. But I so keep it simple: Wash with a sulphate-free shampoo, apply conditioner and put on a shower cap for 15 minutes(I deep condition when my hair starts looking dull and dry). I detangle with the conditioner(in the shower) and rinse off with cool water. I always air dry my hair(80% dry) and I'll add a leave in conditioner. Some times I style it or I'll just detangle and section in large braids till I can figure out what to do with my hair. I use my spritz and a moisturizing lotion to refresh,if necessary.

What is the craziest thing you have done to your hair?
The inversion method! I was dizzy for a few minutes. Lol. Never again!

What is your take on natural hair discrimination?
I tend to ignore it,but if the party in question is willing, they'll be schooled. Lol

Where can we find you ie blog, twitter. instagram and facebook?
