NATURAL BELLE: TITI

 Can we meet you?

I am called Titi by all. A Leo with a very strong personality… at least that’s what I love to think. My thoughts are mostly up there in the clouds and I'm a fun loving adventurous girl who is all for trying new things sometimes. Finally, I love food! Cant skip that part.

How long have you been natural?

I have been natural for 19months and counting. OMG! Not counted in a while! Never knew I could make it this far oooo.

 Describe your texture?

Well… some would call my hair a 4c hair cos of its coils, curls and patterns but I also have type 1 hair sparsely scattered. Like ruler straight hair types. Crazy right? I know my hair has low porosity and quite hard.

What are your regimen?

I do not really have a regimen I stick with except for the usual spritzing my hair with a mixture of water and oils such as olive oil, almond oil essential or tea tree oil. I try to wash once a week when I'm not in a weave and deep condition as often as I do not feel lazy to do. I basically try different things all the time

What is the craziest thing you have done to your hair?

The craziest for me is using banana and other things as a deep conditioner. I didn’t filter the mix and so I couldn’t get the banana particles off of my hair for days on end.

What is your take on natural hair discrimination?

The discrimination drives me crazy! Its on both ends and its really annoying. For me, the goal is healthy hair irrespective of whether you’re relaxed, telaxed, jerry curled or kinkied. I don’t care. I care about taking good care of the hair. I appreciated hair care from Dabs of Naija Hair Can Grow and she is relaxed.

Where can we find you ie blog, twitter. instagram and facebook

This is point where I get to sell myself. You can find me on Twitter: diva_inc though I hardly tweet these days. Instagram: diva_inc and blog is www.fabdivawrites.blogspot.com
